Hello,Freeman.

My name is Phyllis Valentine.
I came across your web page by searching for the name Crosby.

My maiden name was Crosby. My fathers' name was George Elmer Crosby.
He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 25, 1916.

He has a brother named Ralph and another one named David.
There were also three sisters: Muriel, Wilma and Ruth.

I think my grandmothers name was Mary and my grandfathers

I think was Elmer, but I'm not positive. When I was a child, I heard
that my fathers relatives came from Enland.

I don't know a lot about my relatives, but I would like to.

Hello Freeman--
(I'm on the list, but I'm not sure how to post to it.)
In the things I have recently inherited, I find what appears to be the sort
of soft drawstring bag that jewelry or silver might be stored in, and on
this bag is the label, "C.A.W. Crosby and Son, Crosby Building, Boston." I
am wondering if this is a coincidence, or if this is a connection to my
Crosby relatives, who I thought were from Putnam County, New York. I would
guess the bag to date from the late 1800s or the turn of the century. Does
anyone out there know who this C.A.W. Crosby was?
